Halle Berry Sports Daniel Essa Crystal-Embellished Sneakers to Carry Olympic Torch in Cannes

Halle Berry was tasked with carrying the Olympic torch down the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, France at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on Tuesday.
Before making her way down the famous boulevard with the lit torch, she posed for photos on the red steps of the Palais des Festivals. The Oscar-winning actress donned a sporty, all-white ensemble consisting of a long-sleeve top, matching pants, and white sneakers for the special occasion ahead of the Paris Olympics.
Berry wore a low-top style from French brand Daniel Essa that featured a classic lace-up design and strips of sparkling crystals throughout the upper. The glitzy kicks featured tonal white laces. Styling her hair in a relaxed updo, she completed her ensemble with aviator sunglasses and gold earrings.
“What an amazing experience to have had the opportunity to work with Halle Berry and all of the Olympic athletes at an event that embodies the spirit of the Olympics,” Essa wrote in an Instagram post.

Paris will host the 2024 Summer Olympics from June 26 to Aug. 11. The summer games will bring the world’s best athletes together to compete across 32 sports, including basketball, soccer, tennis, and gymnastics. Once again, Nike will serve as the sponsor for the US Olympic Committee, continuing a partnership that kicked off in 2005.
