Jennifer Lopez and Emme Muñiz Make a Statement at ‘Good Night, And Good Luck’ Opening Night In Tall Louboutin Platforms and Chic Loafers
Jennifer Lopez and her 17-year-old child Emme Muñiz kept their Broadway outing streak alive by attending the opening night of “Good Night, and Good Luck,” George Clooney’s Broadway debut, on Thursday.
Lopez elevated her glamorous look with black Louboutin platforms while Muñiz accented their sharp suit look with their trusty Celine loafers.
Lopez dressed up in an elegant strapless black velvet gown from Saiid Kobeisy which featured a plunging neckline, fitted bodice and floor-grazing skirt. A billowing white cape accented her look for part of the evening and she carried a clutch from Tyler Ellis Lily.

Muñiz went with a classic black and white suit look featuring a blazer with skinny lapels, slightly slouchy trousers, a collared shirt and a large tie with a criss-cross pattern. They accessorized with layered silver necklaces.
Lopez’s shoes were mostly obscured by her gown, but a glimpse could be seen of her bold black platform heels which featured a rounded toe and slender ankle strap. The “Unstoppable” actress opted for Christian Louboutin’s Maria Frou Alta platform shoes, which she wore recently to the premiere of her “Kiss of the Spider Woman” movie at Sundance.
The dramatic pumps are made with a black satin material and have a point toe, romantic handmade ruffles that sit at the heels of the foot and inspired by Flamenco dresses, and stand on a 6.5-inch sharp stiletto with a delicate strap that wraps around the ankle. Jenna Ortega also wore the same shoes at the “Death of a Unicorn” premiere at SXSW.
Muñiz, meanwhile, accentuated their sophisticated aesthetic with a pair of loafers, what appeared to be Celine‘s Margaret Loafer. Standout features of the style include a flat fringe accent and a gold Triomphe chain. The leather shoes also feature a lug sole and a hand-stitched apron. The shoes are marked at a price of $1,150 from Celine.
Lopez and Muñiz just recently attended the opening night of another Broadway show, “Othello,” starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal. For that occasion, the mother and child dressed up in a Zuhair Murad look with platforms and a pinstriped suit with loafers (seemingly the same Celine pair), respectively.
