Jessica Chastain brought a dazzling display to the red carpet. The actress hit the premiere of “Memory,” an upcoming film she stars in, at the Venice Film Festival 2023 on Friday.
Chastain went head-to-toe covered in gold. For shoes, although they were hidden due to the hem of her dress, she chose a pair of metallic gold platforms with towering block heels, elevating her look by at least 5 inches.
When it comes to her shoe style, the “George & Tammy” actress tends to go for timeless and classic styles. Chastain is often seen in styles from brands such as Aquazzurra, Burberry, Christian Louboutin and more.
Dressed by celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart, Chastain wore a sparkling custom Gucci gown on the red carpet. Her rose gold dress was completely adorned in sequins that caught the light with every turn. The dress featured a collar and a plunging neckline. Chastain added drop earrings to the look as well as a few rings.
Chastain has been working for years with Stewart, who also dresses A-listers like Viola Davis, Julia Roberts, Amanda Seyfried and many more, and is behind all of Chastain’s most memorable red-carpet looks. Recently, the two team teamed up to create Chastain’s Tony Awards look. She donned a flowing yellow Gucci gown with a matching cape and a multi-toned strapless bodice with a sweetheart neckline.
The Venice Film Festival will feature international movies and cinematic shorts debuting for the new season. The 80th annual event is also taking place during the SAG-AFTRA strike, which has current interim agreements to allow U.S. actors to appear at the occasion. Aside from numerous premieres — including “Maestro,” “Priscilla” and “Ferrari” — the week will conclude with its starry amFar Gala, featuring performances by Leona Lewis and Rita Ora.
