Keke Palmer Serves Up Glam in Chain-Embellished Ankle Boots at OutLoud Music Festival 2024

Keke Palmer brought all the drama to the OutLoud Festival held in Los Angeles. The songstress hit the stage on Saturday, performing among the likes of Adam Lambert, Kesha and Kylie Minogue.
In a glamour meets grunge twist, Palmer pranced around the stage in a pair of black leather ankle booties. The statement-making style featured shiny black leather uppers that transitioned into pointed toes and thick and sturdy 2 to 3 inch block heels. The style could be likened to a cowboy boot, given its western-inspired construction.
What set the style apart from any westernwear however, was the addition of glitzy chain adornments on either side of the boot at the ankles. The high-shine additions were welcomed, further elevating an otherwise plain black boot. Palmer can often be found in elevated footwear styles from top brands like Nike, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Sergio Hudson and Saint Laurent, among others.
On the outfit front, the “Nope” actress donned a black leather two-piece set comprised of a bra and pseudo panties. The set was given a grungy touch with the addition of silver spikes. A rhinestoned mesh jumpsuit was layered beneath the set, simultaneously offering the star extra coverage and a little bit more bling.

OutLoud Music Festival is a queer-centric music festival that began in 2020 and spans a handful of days during Pride Month. This year’s festival, which takes place from May 31 to June 2, features a slew of hit performers including Channel Tres, Noah Cyrus, Ashnikko and Janelle Monáe just to name a few.
The festival aims to spotlight up-and-coming and established LGBTQIA+ acts during June. In the past, the likes of Kim Petras, Carly Rae Jepsen, Passion Pit, Grace Jones and Orville Peck have graced the OutLoud stage. Tickets for the remaining days can be purchased on the music festival’s website.
