Keke Palmer Picks Sleek Peep-Toe Saint Laurent Platforms to Complement Dress-Pants Combo for Met Gala 2025 Red Carpet
Keke Palmer was one of the stars blending womenswear and menswear at the 2025 Met Gala, and a pair of peep-toe platform heels rounded out her hybrid look.
Palmer dressed up in a white halter neck gown with black cigarette pants underneath, going for a classic color contrast that many others displayed at the event. The halter neck aspect was a notch lapel, incorporating a suit element into her look.
A fitted strapless bodice gave way to a dramatic structured bustle skirt. Light-catching embellishments were introduced with pearls of various sizes at the bodice and skirt. The actress accented her look with a black fascinator atop her red hair, which was styled in micro cornrows leading to a straightened ponytail.
Palmere’s outfit was complemented by a pair of Saint Laurent sandals, specifically the brand’s La Scandale style. The shoes are lifted up by a substantial platform and tall stiletto heel, while a wide strap stretches across the front of the foot, allowing for a peep-toe moment. Slender ankle straps support the style in back.

The 2025 Met Gala is unfolding on May 5, the first Monday in May, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City with the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which examines Black dandyism. Celebrity co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky and Lewis Hamilton; LeBron James is an honorary co-chair. This year, the philanthropic event raised $71 million for the Costume Institute, a record-breaking number for the Met Gala.
