Rain couldn’t stop Nicole Scherzinger from making a fashion statement at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. The singer curated a classic ensemble to attend day eight of the tournament at the All England Club on July 8, wearing a white A-line dress and black leather mules.
The singer displayed her European summer style at Wimbledon, selecting a white dress made of a relatively stiff fabric that fell near her ankles. Scherzinger accessorized with gold bracelets, several rings, layered necklaces and hoop earrings. She also held a small black leather purse that matched her shoes.
Scherzinger chose black shoes to complement the white dress, creating a classic color contrast. The heeled mules featured a minimalist yet chic design, with a thick, curved leather strap across her toes. The front of the sole was pointed, adding a bit of sharpness to the footwear.
Mules can easily be dressed up for more formal summer events or dressed down for casual outings, making them a flexible footwear option for warmer weather.

Mules recently saw a bump in popularity in the 2010s in all types of fashion. The style can feature a variety of heel heights, with closed-toe mules often featuring flat soles while open-toe varieties often feature high heels.
