The royal sported a pair of classic black pumps for the dinner. The star’s style included jet-black uppers, sharp and sophisticated triangular toes and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels, offering the public figure a subtle and walkable boost in height. Many royal figures favor neutral-toned pumps because they are a safe and comfortable option. Like Eugenie, Kate Middleton also loves black pumps.

Black pumps are a staple for many celebrities, given they go with just about everything. The style is tried and true, worn and re-worn since the dawn of fashion. Many celebrities reach for the sleek silhouette both on and off the red carpet, the Princess included. Jennifer Lawrence, Anya Taylor-Joy, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande and Sofia Vergara are just some of the many stars who have recently been spotted in black pumps from an array of brands.
