Queen Camilla opted for a simple pair of unfussy kitten heels to complement a boldly printed dress at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday. Alongside King Charles, she co-hosted a reception for community initiatives who raise cancer awareness and support those living with the disease.

The senior royal wore her go-to favorite dress style, a collared look boasting slightly cropped long sleeves, a cinched waist, and flared mid-length skirt with pleated detailing. The design featured a subtle, barely-there zipper at the top in front and a tie belt. A quirky allover dinosaur print made her stand out.

For shoes, Camilla went with another tried-and-true silhouette. She wore low-heeled pumps in a cream shade that coordinated with the white foundation of her dress. She donned a nearly identical style at Wimbledon last year.

Queen Camilla has become known for wearing functional heels that are lower to the ground and practical for royal duty. Some of the monarch’s most-worn brands for footwear include Sole Bliss and Chanel. She especially loves Chanel’s iconic black-and-white cap-toe heels. Meanwhile, Sole Bliss is a British brand she’s stepped out in countless times. The company specializes in stylish footwear with a focus on comfort, with its shoes featuring wider toe boxes, stretchy hidden panels, and extra layers of cushioning.

In 2023, Sole Bliss founder Lisa Kay told “People” magazine, “I don’t know exactly how she heard about Sole Bliss but I can only assume it was through word of mouth.” The veteran shoe designer continued, “One day, one of my lovely girls in the office noticed an order from Clarence House, and a few weeks later, we saw her wearing the shoes — it was incredibly exciting!”

She’s also been spotted in footwear designs from Roger Vivier, Charles & Keith, and Cole Haan. Aside from pumps, she’s also a fan of knee-high boots courtesy of Russell & Bromley. The British footwear brand is often worn by Kate Middleton, Pippa Middleton, and Rita Ora.
