Queen Camilla traveled to Scotland with one of her preferred pairs of pumps, a classic two-toned vintage pair of shoes by Chanel. The queen-consort took the trip to Scotland alongside husband King Charles III for a shortened version of the annual Holyrood week, or Royal Week, ahead of U.K. elections on July 4.

The King and Queen hosted the Sovereign’s Garden Party at Edinburgh’s Palace of Holyroodhouse on July 2, receiving about 8,000 guests.

For the occasion, Queen Camilla was dressed in a formal ankle-length light blue couture dress from Fiona Clare, a British designer she frequently wears. The long-sleeved garment featured a V-neck and floral embroidery along the end of the sleeves and the front of the dress. In classic royal fashion, she wore a hat to match, opting for the OC169 hat in light blue from Philip Treacy. She also accessorized with off-white gloves, Queen Mary’s diamond thistle brooch and a blue topaz and diamond pendant necklace from Kiki McDonough.

Queen Camilla complemented the light blue outfit with two-toned Chanel heels featuring both beige and black, two shades known to easily blend with other colors. The majority of the shoe, which stems from Karl Lagerfeld’s 1998 collection, features cream-colored suede material, which picked up her off-white gloves. Contrasting the light suede fabric is the toe of the shoe, which is black satin. The color blocking offered a departure from the monochrome blue aesthetic of her ensemble.

Queen Camilla previously wore the same Chanel shoes at the first garden party held at Buckingham Palace at the beginning of May 2024. A staple in her wardrobe, the pair made an appearance at the palace’s reception for King Charles III’s coronation in October 2023 as well. She has been wearing the pair of vintage Chanel shoes for over a decade.

Also on July 2 in Scotland, Queen Camilla wore the cap toe Chanel shoes with a different dress from Fiona Clare, this one white with a colorful floral pattern. She hosted an event in support of Scottish literacy, welcoming bookshop owners, authors and representatives from Edinburgh International Book Festival.
