Quinta Brunson is continuing to explore a brown color palette with Christian Louboutin shoes on hand to complement her earthy looks. The “Abbott Elementary” creator went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday modeling a strapless two-toned dress and glittering high heels.
Brunson, who has been working with stylist Jessica Paster, showcased a color blocked dress from Italian label Alberta Ferretti, which currently has creative director Lorenzo Serafini at its helm. In addition to playing with tonality, the dress switched things up when it came to materiality and texture, contrasting a light brown embellished ruched bust with a dark chocolate-hued fitted portion underneath.
The dress looked like a variation of an Alberta Ferretti look featured in the brand’s fall/winter 2025 collection, which was presented at a runway show in Milan in February. Serafini describes the presentation in part on the brand’s website, “Naming my show ‘Progressive Romantics,’ I wanted to portray romantic yet rational women. Keen to both affirm themselves and nourish their personal life. Women who do not have to choose between independence and emotions… They deserve both!”
Brunson’s dress was complemented by a pair of sparkling Christian Louboutin heels, opting for the patent leather and PVC Degrastrass pumps. The red bottomed shoes featured a PVC upper adorned with crystal embellishments most heavily concentrated at the toe, but scattered beyond that region of the shoe as well. In terms of the pump’s statement-making silhouette, the style stood out with a classic pointed toe and an ultra-high stiletto heel which gave the petite actress a significant boost in height.
Brunson and Paster were working with the same color palette when they curated a look for her to attend an FYC event for the “Abbott Elementary” Season Four finale last week. On that occasion, Brunson wore a brown leather version of Christian Louboutin’s Iriza pumps to match a leather skirt and silky top from Italian designer Elisabetta Franchi’s spring/summer 2025 collection, which all together created a rich monochrome aesthetic for the Hollywood power player.
