Shakira took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal the cover of her latest album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” in which she is seen posing in Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.
After seven years since the release of her last album, Shakira will be releasing the highly-anticipated “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” on March 22. The latin record includes features with top artists like Cardi B, Karol G, and Ozuna.
Throughout her successful career, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer has favored many stylish pairs of footwear. In the past year, she has attended red carpet events donning embellished boots and sandals that hail from top labels like Versace and Jimmy Choo.
On the album’s cover, the Colombian singer is seen posing in silver Giuseppe Zanotti’s Aida heels. The metallic mules feature an open toe and an ankle strap that supports the height coming from the platform sole. The height-boosting style allows the shoes to stand at a height of 6 inches.
While platform heels have been around for a very long time, the style has become more popular over the past decade. The set features an elevated sole which forces the heel to bring at least 4 inches of height to any look. The platform sole helps add support and comfort to a pair without sacrificing the height. Heels with this construction have been favored among stars, including Halle Berry, Kim Kardashian and Olivia Rodrigo.
Giuseppe Zanotti first entered the fashion world in the 1980s as a local craftsman. After freelancing for a couple of years with labels like Valentino and Roberto Cavalli, he established his own luxury footwear brand, which is now known for its innovative designs. Zanotit has released memorable shoe styles, including the 2008 architectural “Bloc” sandal and the 2012 “Tattoo” bootie.
