Suri Cruise Makes a Grocery Run in the Wildest Pants & Neon Thong Sandals
Suri Cruise continues to stay on trend even in her casual wear.
The 14-year-old rising star stepped out with a friend for a grocery run in Manhattan yesterday, holding tight to a heavy bag in a gray cutoff muscle tee matched to black, green and white animal print lounge pants; she layered in a face mask for protection as well.
As for footwear, the daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise opted for her new favorite footwear silhouette: thong-toe sandals. Her bold flip flops included a neon icy blue strap set atop a navy footbed coated in a popsicle print.
Thong-toe footwear has returned to the celebrity scene as one of spring and summer’s biggest trends. Be it classic flip-flops or thong-toe heels, the minimalistic silhouette falls in line with a ’90s-inspired revitalization of fashion, as seen with shoes like square-toe styles and pops of neon color. It also continues a return of relaxed apparel and fashion taking over the industry as stay-at-home style becomes the new normal.
Last week, the teenager stepped out once more in a comfy-chic ensemble that of course included her go-to footwear. This time around, it was a navy pair of sandals teamed with a statement T-shirt and relaxed oversized sweats as Cruise walked her dogs in the city.

Together under the guidance of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Suri has already developed into a young fashion star. Her effortlessly cool taste includes everything from classic Ugg boots with ripped jeans to a boho-chic ensemble with a flowing red blouse, white camisole, yellow midi skirt and $80 Adidas Gazelle kicks. She also previously sported a Holmes-inspired look with a white collared shirt with puff sleeves amd light-washed mom jeans, another staple of her mom’s closet as well.
