Tyra Banks Closes 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Sinuous Rene Caovilla Chandalier Sandals

Tyra Banks made her long-awaited return to the runway on Oct. 15, where the veteran supermodel closed the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for the first iteration of the event since 2018 — and she wore Rene Caovilla sandals for the momentous occasion.
Banks rose to the stage following an invigorating performance by Cher. The “America’s Next Top Model” star looked fierce in sparkling black leggings and a black corset top featuring a silver geometric pattern. Rather than wings, Banks’ ensemble included a dramatic shiny cape and glossy long sleeves. She wore her hair out in a voluminous style as she showed off her signature strut on the runway.
For her footwear, Banks wore Rene Caovilla’s black Chandelier sandals, which feature dangling crystal beads reminiscent of the statement light fixture. The luxury brand Rene Caovilla, which created custom shoes for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, is known for sandals with spiraling straps wrapping around the ankle. The Chandelier style was prominently displayed at the event — Tyla posed on the pink carpet, for example, wearing a white version of the shoe, which she paired with a daring pink gown. Lisa wore the black iteration as well to go with a silver bra and sheer cape. A version of the Chandelier shoe with a 105 mm heel retails for $2,080.

The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion show aired at 7 p.m. EST on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Live, as well as the brand’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok pages. Tyra Banks took the stage again alongside models Alessandra Ambrosio, Gigi Hadid, Barbara Palvin, Behati Prinsloo, Jasmine Tookes, Taylor Hill, Adriana Lima and a slew of others.
The high profile event attracted a range of guests including Cardi B, Queen Latifah, Angel Reese, Suni Lee, Ice Spice, Law Roach and Phoebe Dynevor, among many others. Joining Cher on the list of all-female performers were Tyla and Lisa of Blackpink.
