Winona Ryder gave major grunge vibes for her appearance at the “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” photocall today in New York. The press tour for the upcoming film began earlier this week.

The “Heathers” actress took a page from her teen years, swapping out formal footwear for a pair of chunky black booties. The rugged style featured glossy black leather uppers that transitioned into rounded toes, zipper detailing up the front and thick, almost platform-esque rubber tread. The rubber soles offered a utilitarian non-slip feel while the zipper closures furthered the grunge aspect, creating dimension. The style is likely ankle length.
