Menswear veteran Nick Wooster has teamed up with social commerce marketplace Basic.Space to drop his first collection with the platform.

According to Basic.Space, Wooster’s sale includes over 130 pieces of some of his most “cherished” items he’s collected over the years from designers like Comme des Garçons, Rick Owens and Bode.

Some of the footwear highlights in the sale include rare items like the Comme des Garçons x George Cox multicolored creepers; Marsèll black leather Chelsea boots; Dries Van Noten beige snakeskin derby shoes; Maison Mihara Yasuhiro metallic silver sneakers; Dries Van Noten beige snakeskin derby shoes; Junya Watanabe Man cross strap sandals; and more.

“I’m always happy to edit and go through my closet at various stages because I feel it is kind of my responsibility to pay it forward,” Wooster told FN. “I love clothes and I have always loved clothes, and I’m not super sentimental about things, but I do feel like they remind me of places I’ve been or people I’ve met, and I love the history that’s behind that for me. This is my curated collection for Basic.Space.”

Wooster’s drop is the largest collection of menswear and accessories from an individual seller Basic.Space has launched to date, the company said.

The former Bergdorf Goodman men’s fashion director’s items are now exclusively available for purchase via the Basic.Space app and website, with prices ranging between $50 and $2,000.

Basic.Space first launched in 2019 as a curated marketplace where the internet’s most influential creatives sell their own vintage fashion, pre-owned luxury, and new exclusive products. Initial sellers on the platform, which were selected through an invite-only basis, included Sophia Amoruso, Steve Aoki, Love Watts, Pia Arrobio, Emily Oberg, Purienne and Sami Miro.

The company’s new tie-up with Wooster is the platform’s latest men’s activation. In June, Basic.Space hosted events with brands including Basketcase Gallery, Saintwoods and Justin Reed during Paris Fashion Week Men’s. The events served as a physical introduction to each brand’s launch onto the platform earlier this summer.
