Queen Latifah Films ‘The Equalizer’ in Low-Top Black & White Gucci Sneakers in New York

Queen Latifah was spotted filming on set for “The Equalizer” in New York yesterday, while filing a scene by the water with her co-star Tory Kittles.

Casual and sleek, the “Last Holiday” star sported a pair of black and white low-top sneakers hailing from Gucci. Retailing for $1,049, the designer silhouette featured leather and fabric uppers in black and contrasting white, accompanied by coordinating black lace-up closures, almond-shaped toes and dynamic wave inserts that act to modernize the style.

“The Equalizer” is a 2021 drama television show based on the 1985 television show of the same name by Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim. It also follows the success of the recent “The Equalizer” film franchise led by Denzel Washington, who stars as Robert McCall. The TV series is currently on its fifth season and features a star-studded cast of talents including Liza Lapira, Laya DeLeon Hayes, Tory Kittles and Latifah, among others. The show follows Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.
